With influences from Chilean folk to the Violent Femmes, B52s to the Talking Heads, Dear Frontier is a band specially equipped to confront the unique challenges of the 21st century with an innovative combination of heart and attitude. Their songs will surprise you. They might disarm you. Hopefully they will empower you.  “Acts For the Frozen Sea" is their debut album, which will be officially released with multimedia performances featuring live music and layers of film, projection and stop motion.  A play on Kafka’s quote that literature should be like "an axe for the frozen sea within us," this show confronts apathy with images that are lyrical and songs that are tangible with imagery.
