Don’t get measles
Medical Officer of Health, Annette Nesdale, says there was still potential for secondary infection and people should watch out for symptoms including a fever, runny nose, sore red eyes, a red blotchy rash and white spots on the inside of the mouth.
Nesdale says it’s really important that people are immunised as measles is highly infectious and can spread rapidly.
“No one wants to get a disease that is easily preventable with a free shot,” Nesdale says
