Farewell to Morrison
Morrison died after a long battle with cancer on February 10, aged 54.
Amongst his endeavours Morrison was an avid supporter of the arts, behind the establishment of music publisher and promotion company Promethean Editions Ltd and the H.R.L. Morrison Trust, established in 1995 to promote New Zealand composers and performers. The Morrison Music Company led to the creation of SmokeCD’s and the Capital Recordings label.
Morrison was the founder of infrastructure investment company Infratil and led a campaign for the change of the New Zealand flag.
