The show must go on
The popular children’s theatre, Capital E, is still awaiting engineer reports on their building, which has been yellow-ticketed as unsafe. In the meantime, they’ve found temporary homes at Wellington Town Hall and Downstage Theatre. Kids off from school in March can head to the Town Hall for Sky Dancer, a joint production with New Zealand Symphony Orchestra based on Witi Ihimaera’s novel and scored by Gareth Farr. The April school holidays production, Seasons, will be at Downstage, followed by a return of last year’s popular show, Ivy, in July.
