The Wellington Book is a celebration of all things Wellington from glorious summer days on Oriental Parade to the “white-knuckle” experience of landing at Wellington airport in the spring equinox. In 117 pages of colourful hand drawn illustrations by Sandi McKechnie and Jess Lunnon, and quirky text from Mike Fitzsimons and Nigel Beckford, The Wellington Book captures the Capital in a way not done before.
Essentially The Wellington Book is another coffee table pictorial about Wellington, but it shows the city as no camera could. It will put a smile on the face of any local or visitor.
The Wellington Book is funky and it’s whacky, and that’s just how we like to view the world’s southernmost capital.
