Words on Edge

Poets reading from their own work, and reading from each other’s, and generally giving the idea of poetry as words on edge a run for its money. Or as Ian Wedde has it, putting words 'on the edges of their seats, at the edges of the known universe, where speaking, writing, and telling get shuffled in the language deck. Edgy words, words on high alert.’ Amy Brown, Lynn Jenner and Aleksandra Lane join New Zealand Poet Laureate Ian Wedde in a relaxed but edgy take on what poetry has to offer the Fringe Festival goer – that’s you! This event is free, Fergus Barrowman will steer, and an edgy time is guaranteed.
